With a bachelor’s degree in journalism as her foundation, Pat has carved out a career in copywriting and project management in a variety of fields including industry, education (including a stint at U-M’s College of Engineering), and the editorial world. After returning to college to earn a master’s degree in museum administration, she took a deep dive into history with positions at institutions such as Mackinac State Historic Parks and The Henry Ford. Most recently, she served as editor of Michigan History magazine, where she led the effort to redefine the look, feel, and editorial focus of the century-old publication.
In her spare time, she writes non-fiction and was a 2015 recipient of a Michigan Notable Book Award.
