Barbara Sefton
Senior Writer
A writer, editor, and storyteller with more than 20 years’ experience in higher education, health care, and the arts, Barbara joined Michigan Creative in January 2018 from the Department of Marketing Communications at the U-M Kellogg Eye Center. She previously served as stewardship writer in the U-M Office of Development and has also worked with other U-M departments, including the Museum of Art, Stamps School of Art & Design, School of Music, Theatre & Dance, and College of Engineering. The holder of a BA in English/Journalism from Madonna University, Barbara has written for the Chicago Tribune, Art & Antiques, and HOUR Detroit, among other regional and national publications. She is the founder+editor of SLICE ANN ARBOR, an arts and culture series.
