A Case Study

Since 2010, Michigan Creative has developed the U-M Department of Internal Medicine’s annual report. As the largest department at Michigan Medicine with 13 divisions providing a wide range of care, they needed a comprehensive and compelling report to fully capture the true impact of their research, education and patient care.

Building Internal Medicine’s national reputation

Each year, the department uses the report to share the year’s highlights and news with stakeholders and peers across the country, to increase support for their initiatives and to recruit and attract top residents, fellows and faculty. MC conducts interviews, writes, designs and produces the 100+-page book, leveraging engaging visual design (including photos from Michigan Photography) and coordinating the mailing.

Challenge

To capture and communicate in a compelling way the impact of 13 distinct medical divisions and how their work contributes to and supports the missions of the Department of Internal Medicine and Michigan Medicine.
