Challenge
Kinesiology is the newest U-M school, earning that distinction in 2008; but it has existed as a discipline since 1894. Today, U-M Kinesiology graduate programs rank in the top 5, and the undergraduate program boasts more than 900 students and is considered one of the nation’s best. To help give the School a more cohesive branded presence, Kinesiology asked Michigan Creative to develop a strategy for a redesign and to develop a new site architecture to increase ease of use.
Solution
Working closely with Kinesiology stakeholders, Michigan Creative designed a clean, branded web presence that leverages strong, colorful photography and offers both topic- and audience-based navigation. The Drupal 7 website was build by an external developer; Michigan Creative worked directly with them to ensure that the vision for the site was fulfilled.
