The Michigan Media-produced film "Love, Life & Loss" won five Emmy awards at the National Academy of Television Arts & Sciences' (Michigan Chapter) 39th EMMY®Award Ceremony on June 10. The music documentary features the Michigan Men’s Glee Club performing “Seven Last Words of the Unarmed” by composer Joel Thompson and “Glory” by John Legend and Common from the film Selma. U-M associate director of choirs and associate professor of conducting Eugene Rogers, conductor Joel Thompson, and audio recordist David Lau also won awards for the documentary.
Michigan Creative was absolutely wonderful to work with on the beautiful Mott dedication book and brochure. I’m sure this isn’t the first time they’ve been praised, but I didn’t want to go without adding mine to the heap.
